Hi! I’m Sallie.
I believe that language is power. It shapes our stories, connects communities, and opens doors to opportunities.
When my family immigrated to the United States, I experienced firsthand how language barriers can limit access to essential resources and opportunities. That experience shaped my commitment to breaking down those barriers, whether through my work at Asian Law Caucus, Asian Americans Advancing Justice, the United Nations, or supporting migrant children in Picun, on the outskirts of Beijing, China. Across these roles, my focus has remained the same: empowering individuals and organizations to communicate effectively and meaningfully across cultures.
With a Bachelor’s from UCLA and a Master of Laws from Peking University, I have worked across advocacy, translation, and strategic consulting, from authoring and translating texts like the Buddhist Canon to publishing research on women’s rights and international discourse. Through Lin Collaborative, I now offer these services to support you in breaking down communication barriers and amplifying your impact.
